Does anyone have any idea what this HIV/Aids statistic would be?

I am estimating that around 1 in 300 people in the US has HIV or AIDS. Does that sound right to you? Does anyone know for a fact, or have a different estimate?

According to them, 1.1 million people in the US were living with HIV in 2006. Given that 300 million people live in the US, you'd be right: about 1 in 300 people inthe US are living with HIV.

well, HIV/AIDS is no cure but all we have to discover is that to becareful and respect the other who have it we do not have to hate them becuase they have it.. maybe HIV/AIDDS was there in the earth since everyone was born so it might be part of our live in my think we should just ignor like it is not there and just live our life...

I do not know that for a fact, but these days I would have thought it was much lower.
