If I want to work with children in africa when I get older what type of degree should i get in college?

Particularly children affected by HIV/AIDS. Like orphans and such.

I prolly will join the peace corps. but I was thinking taking African Languges, phsycology and, counsling educational phsycology and special education.

counsling eduactional phsycology and special education is one course.

You should major in Social Work. Your electives should be in International Studies. You should also become certified in HIV/AIDS education (that would be a separate certification.) You can get training for that at anytime. Contact the Dept. of Health in the city where you live. They often have HIV?AIDS cert. classes for you to become certified.

You should be a doctor and specialize or what not. Also you could try joining the Peace Corp...

I dont think you need a degree for that. I believe it is all volunteer work done through the Red Cross if am not mistaken.
