Brushing the teeth with other's tooth brush will there be chances of getting hiv aids?

Brushing the teeth with other's tooth brush will there be chances of getting hiv aids?

First of all, why anyone would want to share a toothbrush with anyone else (healthy or not) is beyond me, it's absolutely disgusting!

The HIV Virus is extremely short lived outside of the body. A toothbrush is made of non porous bristles and it would be difficult for the HIV Virus to stick to it. In order for the HIV Virus to be transmitted from one person to another, there needs to be the presence of bodily fluid. The most likely case of a toothbrush being covered with bodily fluid would be blood, if someone was suffering from bleeding gums. If a toothbrush was all bloody, you wouldn't want to use it anyway, especially if it was not yours. If you are extremely concerned, you can soak the toothbrush for 10 minutes in a container of 1 part bleach to 10 parts water. I have yet to come across any studies of anyone contracting HIV thru a toothbrush, so I would say the possibility of it occurring is slim, but if all the conditions were right (you used the person right after another person who was infected with the HIV Virus, the toothbrush had blood, you had an open sore in your mouth that the toothbrush came in contact with, etc) than I would say that it could happen.

Remember that in order to get the HIV Virus from anyone, the person you came in contact with has to have the HIV Virus, or they can't give it to you.

Yes there is a chance if there is blood left on the toothbrush. Also oral diseases like gum disease (gingivitis or periodontitis) can be SPREAD to others especially if you share cups, food (take a bite and then someone else takes a bite) AND a toothbrush.
EW never use anyone else's toothbrush!

HIV does not transmit through saliva however does transfer through blood
so if the other person has some injuries in his mouth and blood has come on toothbrush it can infect.

Advisibly not

No! HIV virus can get contacted only directly through Blood transfusion and by sexual organs. to be simple just remember that HIV virus cannot thrive in open air, i.e. it cannot keep alive when contact with air.

You should never use somebody else's toothbrush under any circumstances; just as you should not put on their underwear like it was yours! Just a bit of common sense goes a really long way..

No, it can't be transmitted, unless there is contamination from the blood of the infected person

its a possibility go get checked!
