How is preventing homosexual marriage going to lessen the spread of HIV & AIDS?

I have a lot of arguments that homosexuality is the leading factor in the spread of HIV/AIDS in America. For this question, I will assume this is true fact.

Same-sex marriage has has been illegal, and the disease continued to spread... So how would making same-sex marriage legal worsen the spread? Either way, they are going to do it...so how is taking away a HUMAN right like this going to change any of that?

And yes, despite what SOME may think, homosexuals ARE human beings that deserve every right and privilege a heterosexual person has.

Having only one partner in a committed relationship would definitely lessen the chance of any homosexual person contracting AIDS, just as it would for a heterosexual. Being "officially" married in the state might lead some of them to take the relationship more seriously than they would without a marriage license, and might even prevent the spread of AIDS to some degree.

Even the Catholic Church is in favor of Freedom of Religion.

It won't. The vast majority of HIV in the US is spread by homosexuals (at least according to the CDC). And it is ludicrous to claim that allowing homosexual marriage will lessen the spread of HIV.

If two people love each other and want to spend the rest of their life together, they do not care about a piece of paper. If they sleep around, they will continue to sleep around even if they are married.

Also, marrying a person of the same sex is NOT a human right, it is a violation of nature that you seem to want to legislate.

Which they already have. Heterosexual people don't have the right to marry someone of the same sex, either. When I got my marriage license, not once was I asked about my sexual orientation.

Encouraging marriage encourages monogamy, which lessens the spread of STDs. So the HIV excuse works in favor of same sex marriage.

It's all the sleeping around people do that is spreading the diseases. And morons. Not too many actually USE the birth control available to them. I've run into quite a few women who got PG while sleeping around and they "Forgot" or "they were drunk" or... they were just stupid cause they really think the man "loves them". Big wake up calls.

No. Most of the time AIDS is spread by heterosexual couples. This is just an excuse for homophobes to get their way.

You would think that if you hated gay you would want the gays to keep there HIV to themselves ( in there own community)

Homosexuals might start having sex with monkeys again and that was one of the places that a theory said the disease originated in Africa from men having sex with monkeys.

If that happens again it might get even worse (maybe).

The other theory is that instead of being married the homosexuals will start to have sex with more children instead and that could def. spread more aids.

I am not against same sex marriage because I think it will spread HIV or AIDS. I am against it because it goes against traditional, normal marriages and is an abomination to God.

The possibility that they can go to another country would help and also those who demonically agree with their filthy ungodly lifestyles.
