A UN revised reported estimated 33 million people were living with HIV at the end of 2007. For every two people accessing HIV treatment, another five are newly infected with the virus. Given the gap, there is broad agreement among scientific, government and civil society communities on the need to intensify HIV prevention efforts.
One could argue the correctness of the data. Certain programs have been implemented according to UNAIDS (Joint United Nations Program on HIV/AIDS) and AVERT the international AIDS charity.
Following the Declaration of Commitment , countries progress reports have been submitted to the General Assembly and are available for information progress towards the Universal Access to HIV prevention, treatment, care and support, and targets.

Well you caught my attention on this question. I am 100% raw vegan and in our opinion (about 200 thousand people), disease does not exist except as an acidic (hot) condition of the body. Since raw vegans are balanced phydrionly (PH 鈥?lean closer to alkalinity [cold]), no disease (overheating the heat pump called the body) can exist in a cool or balanced environment (Pasteur [epidemiology] had a deathbed capitulation to his long time nemesis Antoine Bechamp [biochemistry] regarding the corrupted host being the culprit not the disease). Therefore, disease (dis ease or not at ease) is not possible. Hence, cures for the actual mythical existence of disease have long been with the 100% raw food diet in which provides virtual immortality if not truncated by unnatural disaster.

I'm convinced that there is at least 2 possible cures. First is the story of an American male who was poz and treated for Leukemia by chemo therapy and received a bone marrow transfusion from a donor who had the delta-32 mutation (resistant to the virus). The patient was cured completely. The second is far easier and cheaper but is being suppressed by the powers that be.

Well there have been concerts to raise money for aids.
I think the best thing to do is to not have sex with someone unless you really really love them and always use protection.

I don't know about cures and all that but I do know that there are drugs that can help prevent pregnant women from passing the disease on to their unborn child.
