What are the stages of a person with hiv\aids?

The stages goes as follows

1) Acute febrile state - Just like any other viral fever, as soon as the person gets infected, just lasts for 2 to 3 days

2) Asymptomatic stage - Here the person becomes symptomless, Under this
a) window period - virus not detected even with lab tests
b) Seroconversion - here person becomes HIV positive
This period can vary from person to person, it can last from just few weeks till 10 years before person becomes symptomatic, But the person will be highly infectious and can infect others.. thats y hiv spreads so fast..

3) Persistant generalised Lymphadenopathy - here many lymph glands are enlarged

4) AIDS related complex - persons immunity is mostly destroyed, starts developing opportunistic infections..

5) AIDS - full blown, all the consequences including, meningitis, encephalitis, cancers, infections etc.

6) DEATH
