Can i get hiv from someone kissing my hand?don't remember if i had a cut, what if their saliva had blood in it? |
this person probably had/has STD'S, i found out about that after the fact, and i figure if they had std's who knows what else? They may also been high at the time-not sure about iv drugs -probably pot. it was unprovoked by me and it happened over 2 years ago. We did nothing furthur. with regard to std's i figured it they had/have std's, couldn't be more likely they had HIV? I wish I could spread the message to every fearful and paranoid that your focus determines your reality. I believe when someone is told they have a 'disorder' they are allowing themselves the ability to lose any self discipline or self control. An excuse given to them and essentially raping their mind of any reality that most perceive. Learn the facts about something and stick to those. Knowledge is power and without that power you will stand for nothing, those who stand for nothing fall for anything. In truth it is sad that HIV is called a STD because it can be contracted by more than just sex. As another person just answered, it can be passed three ways. Someone could lick your hand for half an hour who has HIV and you won't contract the disease. The moment the virus hits the air it dies. Good luck! Relax. You can NOT get HIV this way. It is NOT transmitted by saliva or by casual contact. No you can't get HIV from a kiss on your hand it is extremely rare to be spread even by kissing the only way to get it is to have unprotected sex, sharing of intravenous needles or blood transfusion. You should be okay but if it will help to ease your mind you can request a test anyways from your doctor. STD's can be transferred only by sexual contact, even if you do have sexual contact with someone with std's and you are using a condom there is nothing to worry about, but just to be on the safe side you should visit your doctor. Don't worry. You can get those by means of: I would suggest that you perform a blood test for HIV. It is quite cheap and eventhough the chance of contracting is near zero. atelast for your peace of mind. |
