Could this spread hiv? |
Ok so my friend was using needles with her other friend. What happened was as follows: Person A shot theirselves up and then cleaned the needle out with water a few times (but they didn't clean it enough). Then Person A put their drug in the mixing spoon and used the same needle to fill the spoon with water. There was a visible amount of blood in the water (from the needle somehow) which went back in the spoon. Person B then injected themselves (but using a different needle) with this mixture from the spoon. The question is does HIV survive in water for more then 3 minutes? Please read this scenario carefully inorder to understand what happened. When I say there was a visible amount of blood in the water I mean that when person A was using their needle to put water in the mixing spoon you could just barely see a slight red tint to the water coming out of the needle. Yes you can get HIV from that....get that person to rehab. That is how a lot of people get infected. I'd have it checked out. Most people are infected through sharing of needles (contact with blood) or sexual contact. dude get checked out. just a dirty spoon can cause infection. yes you could get HIV. tell him to go get himself checked |
