Why are there many persons who feel that experimentation with alcohol will still be okay in the long run?

If Russians are dying at 40,000 people each year of alcohol consumption and at 59 yrs old as opposed to 73.5 yrs old in the USA, and the children believe that good food will stop the HIV AIDS problem then we need to look at where our priorities are.those should be good food. It will undoubtedly stop this obsession with both drug and alcohohl consumption. Maybe we should obliterate the food and see what happens. HUH?

Americans don't live as long as in other countries, I thought Russia was included in that. HIV AIDS can be cured and has been before. A cure-all doesn't exist for anything, it depends on the person. Since HIV is so powerful it depends on the person that much more. Alcohol isn't that bad. It's worse than LSD and LSD is still illegal. Drugs are misunderstood by most people (for a reason).

because the long run doesn't matter.
it doesn't matter if you finish the race, it matters if you had fun along the way.
to always live one's life in preparation is not healthy either.
so go enjoy your life, that's why you got it in the first place.

If you have enough amino acids and other vitamins it can counter some of the ill affects of alcohol.
