HIV and AIDS Question, Is it transmitted through saliva? |
My brother brought home a school trumpet today from school, we had these old things for so long and no one takes care of them as they used to. The SYSTEM is that you take your instrument out you sanitize it with this pink stuff you dip the mouth piece in and rinse and dry off. You don't wash it(mouth piece) again after wards, for it is left dirty and its the responsibility of the next person to wash off. Anyhow my brother brought it home and forgot to sanitize it , he just decided to wash it with water(not sure what temperature) and some dish soap. it can be spread though saliva BUT it would not live for an extended period of time out side the body sorry to say this but yes, hiv can be transmitted by saliva, you have to be more careful these days. actually it is it can be spread thourgh saliva |
