I know what I did was bad and I have learned my lesson... I shared a straw to use for drugs my nose bled?

I prob. had an open cut or something. Now i am horrified that I could have contracted something like hep or hiv if someonelses blood was on the straw. Is this possible or how likely is it that this could have happened

It is technically possible to contract a disease like hepatitis or HIV if you had an open wound and it came in contact with infected blood or body fluids, though. Those diseases can also be transmitted if they come into contact with the mucous membranes (like your mouth, eyes, nose, genitals and anus).

So yes, it is possible that you could have contracted something. It's not very likely though, unless whoever you were sharing with was also bleeding. It's much more likely that snorting drugs triggered the nosebleed.

The person would have had to of had their blood on the straw from them before you used it and you use it with the blood still on it, and have a disease. Now, what are the chances of that?
