A question about HIV and the use of drugs? |
I have read HIV can be spread to someone from a crack spoon. If the user pours it on the spoon from a needle. How can they catch it that way if it is outside the needle? Also that it can be transmitted through caps and cotton used to do drugs? No im not a drug user just curious and want to know. It is not about cracked spoon, caps and cotton buds. It is about sharing needles with persons who already have the disease, of course the spoons and caps or cotton may contain other infecting agents like bacteria which could also cause serious problems such septicemia (so called blood poisoning). Besides HIV, drug users who share needle are also susceptible to Hepatitis B & C. |
