Ok!...Please help me out and answer my question!?

I am a college student, 19 years old. I have OCD and a phobia of HIV.

I am a virgin, I am saving myself for marriage. I do not use IV drugs...and my parents are healthy.

I am scared because along with my OCD, I have an obsession about measuring myself like my hips and my waist and what not because being with HIV/AIDS lose a lot of weight so I want to make sure that I remain my size.

Well, I measured myself today and I am about an inch less that usually around my hips. Is this normal?

I used to eat McDonalds EVERYDAY and here recently about 2 weeks ago, I have started to cook my own meals and eat out extremely less.

I am really worried! What if I got HIV from kissing someone or just from daily routine!?

PLEASE HELP!

PLEASE!

My thighs are still measuring the same!

Take a deep breath and relax. You're going to drive yourself crazy worrying about it.

When I was in college, I had horrible OCD, so I know where you're coming from. Like you, I was also a virgin, even though I feared everything from STDs to pregnancy. Is there a school counselor that you could go talk to? I know my school offered a free counselor; maybe your school does too.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help!

Good luck!!!

First of all, Breathe... Ok you stated you stopped eating out and at McDonalds everyday. Your losing the weight you gained from eatting out so much plus fast foods have a lot of salt in them so more than likely what you've lost is a bunch of water bloat. It's normal. You just happen to be losing it in your hips first. The chances of getting HIV or aids from kissing is very rare, also you have to come in contact with bodily fluids, blood, semen, vagnal etc.. through sex or a open bleeding wound. Since you said your still a virgin, you can remove the chance of getting it from vagnal and semen from the list. As for the other way (open bleeding wounds) if you keep it covered you'll be safe.

Yo im rly sorry, you really need to see someone about this.
HIV can only be passed thru blood or body fluids. not spit. unless you have open mouth sores and they had aids, youre fine.

You said it yourself, you have OCD. Its just ur head, chill out and dont go to mcdonalds.
