I am VERY let down by the Police!? Domestic Abuse?

Basically my uncle has schizophrenia and has HIV, takes drugs, smokes weed and drinks heavily. He also has a criminal record for Domestic Abuse.

When I was 2 he nearly raped me. So he alsohas a record for being a Pedophile.

So one day he was beating up his wife and the police caught him and took him to a mental health hospital in section 2 which means that he should stay there for up to 28 days because he was a danger to me (he said he was going to finish what he started) and my little sister.

But theey let him out because of "good behavour" and he escaped and went to his wifes house and beat her up AGAIN. The police didn't manage to to catch him until 4 WEEKS LATER. I mean it doesn't take that long to catch someone does it?

Ok so they caught him again and put him in section 3 which means that he can't come out for 6 months but guess what?

He ESCAPES and he went to his wifeshouse right now and is banging the door and shouting the place now. the wife didn't open the door

AND now he wen't to his moms house and is baging the door and he says that we are next,,meaning me.

I am only 13 and I am very scared and if they don't catch him before tomorrow I won't be able toget to school

Thats unfair I should have the right to go to school. They shouldnt have realised he escaped in the first place. bullshit

Instead of taking the time to type all this, have you considered calling 911 and hiding you and your sister?

I think that you need to be a bit clearer. First you say he was released early for good behaviour, then you say he escaped - all in the same sentence!

sounds crazy call the cops again that's all you can really do or get a base ball bat and whack away at his knee caps till he never walks again and not worry about punishment because it sounds like they really don't care to much about the law where you are at

if all thats going on why are u online at all and wheres ur parents why havent they kept u clear of this guy family or no family someone messed with my 2 year old id never want to be awround them and if i was id kill them why do u even know his wife or him for that matter?

I think you should go to school when you should be going to school. Then ask for help from your school. In the meantime instead of sitting here and asking the question...you should be calling the police.

Call the ******* police and tell them what you said here. If you have a gun shoot him dead and be done with it. He sounds very deserving of such a fate.

Enough will be enough, unfortunately things will have to come to a head first, in the mean time look after yourself and your family.

It is not the cops job to protect you or any one their job is to property and to investigate your death.

There are several things your mom and family can do. The first thing is an emergency protection order. Granted the piece of paper wil not stop him if he wants to really do something BUT you can have one filed and he will not be able to go anywhere any of you live, work, go to school, or any place that you may be. Most orders are valid for 30 days but you can talk to the judge and request a permanent order. Being a minor there are only a few things that you can do and most of them require a parent to file. Contact the local abuse shelter and tell them ehat is going on, most of they people who work there have been through what you guys are going through right now and they can help to address the issue to the judge and or give you some more advice about the laws in your state. Go to your counselor at school and tell them you are afraid of what maight happen or that he might show up. If he does then they can have him arrested for trespassing. They more reports the police have the more documentation you have to take to court, but you guys needs to get the emergency protection order done immediately. If after the order is made and he still comes around he will be arressted, if he keeps coming around the jail time and penalties grow larger and longer. Document every injury get a ruler and a camera and take plenty of pictures of the bruises and such, call the police each time and file a report and press criminal charges for the following that apply to you guys right now : harrassment, wanton endangerment, assault and battery, tresspassing. The main thing is documentation. If you have undeniable proof to show what he is doing and what he has done you can take it to an attorney and put him away for VERY long time. The justice system is far from picture but following these few things will greatly enhance your chances of keeping him away for a very long time and a record to match for the rest of his life. just call the police and hide, if you say he is after and going to kill or rape you which is more important school or your life???
were are you parents can't they protect you??

You have the right to live free from constant fear.
If the police won't do anything ,contact Child protective Services to get a social worker's input. That person will be able to advise you on how to use the law to protect yourself and keep that filthy Uncle of yours away from you.

The police don't run psychiatric hospitals - how about having a go at the hospital for letting him escape?

It can take that long to catch someone and it sounds like things are being taken care of as best as possible. This is also very unfortunate and you are obviously very distressed by all of this as you should be. Have you ever considered counseling with mental health professionals to help you cope with all of this.

BTW, if you or someone is currently being threatened by this man, call the cops ASAP.

0800 1111 is the number you can ring. The police (112 on your mobile) will help if YOU call if he is threatening you or where you are. But childline will also be of help, especially if no one else is helping you.

the only way to get the police interested is if there's money in it for them. I'm afraid the police are no longer interested in public safety. just fleecing people for money. which ' to be honest' is about all they are good for. have you no men in the family that could get together and take the situation into their own hands? there must be a little quiet field he could be rested in some where in your area?
