How is drug resistance evolving?

basically the drugs knock the virus down, but not out. when ever a drug is used to kill something and it doesn't completly wipe it out, only the strongest survive to reproduce. so we are actually making "stronger germs". this is what has happened with the over use of antibiotics. you should only use antibiotics if your body was unable to fight the bacteria off on its own. and antibiotics are absolutly no good against viruses.

Every drug have it target. Drug do attack their targeted virus/cells etc but however there are mutation within everything. In term of the drug, there happen to be a few individual that have this mutation that make them immune to the drug. So while the rest of the normal virus/ cells are being kill by the drug, these mutation individuals are reproducing and passing such adaptable trait to their offspring. Given enough reproduction cycles, this once was a mutation became the norm of the population so hence a new drug is needed to target this new strain of germ........
