Can anyone please tell me what all work has been done in the field of developing a drug to combat HIV?

Some of the drugs are too leathal for human consumption. Also think about this, many goverments and drug companies would not want a cure for AIDS or HIV. They would loose trillions of dollars because they are selling half assed medicine to the people

Other than Mr. Gates donating a sh*tload of money very recently to help research and help find a cure, I couldnt tell ya....
