Girlfriend might have hiv/std?

me and my girlfriend had sex(safely with a condom obviously!) but recently shes been vomiting and didnt feel very well
i thought she might of had caught an infection like an STD but shes too scared to visit a doctor.
what do i do?

Hi, Daniel - Well, I guess it just goes to show that "A little knowledge IS a dangerous thing." (BTW, the quote goes out to Ms. OrdersToGo...) Dude, if you think she might have "caught" an STD, since you were the person she had sex with, I think the bigger question is, "Do YOU have an STD?" No offense intended, ... but, really, where else would she have caught the STD? Most likely, she's caught a virus, but nothing related to HBV (hepatitis B) or HIV or anything else sexually transmitted. If the vomiting persists or she can't keep even plain water in her stomach, then she does need to to the ER for fluid replacement to avoid dehydration. But I really don't think you need to worry about an STD, especially if you (her boyfriend with whom she had sex before she got sick) don't have one. Good luck.

SHE MAY ONLY BE SICK BUT HERE ARE SOMETHINGS TO CHECK OUT
GOODLUCK

Hepatitis B causes mild fever, headaches, muscle aches and joint pain. It is also accompanied by loss of appetite, nausea and vomiting. Fortunately, there is hope that all future cases of the infection will be eliminated by routine immunizations of all children with the Hepatitis B vaccine.

HIV Symptoms And AIDS is probably the most widely spread sexually transmitted disease. Although there is no specific symptom that indicates HIV infection, many people develop a non-specific illness 2 to 4 weeks after they have been infected. Fever, vomiting, diarrhea, muscle and joint pains, headache and sore throat can characterize this initial illness. On average, people are ill for up to 2 weeks with the initial illness. In rare cases, the initial illness has occurred up to 10 months after infection. It is also possible to become infected with the HIV virus without having recognized the initial illness. When the symptoms of the HIV are acute, the disease is known as the Acquired Immunodeficiency Virus (AIDS). This disease has no permanent cure.

the young lady who told you that HIV is the most widely spread sexual disease is so far off base...Syphillis is rampant in the world today much more so than HIV. Depending when you had sex...the symptoms of HIV do not occur sometimes up to more than 18 months. They do not appear at all in the first 90 days. Gonorrhea will have symptoms within 9 days and the same for syphillis.. neither of which have vomiting as a primary symptom. Painful urinination is the primary symptoms and a rash. HIV develops into AIDS...and as noted HIV may not make itself known until the AIDS develops. Now..if the condom broke or had a hole..the amount of fluids would have to be more than would seep through a hole in a condom. If both of you are healthy the opportunity for HIV to be transmitted is minimal.
If you are druggies..the opportunity is huge. Anal sex increases transmission speed and opportunity.

The best advice is go to a clinic and get your blood and urine checked. Omg...they even got clinics in Walmart...$60
but...if there is nothing urinary going on and its only vomiting and feeling bad...its probably a virus..and you both are feeling "guilty" and a bit scared....

Go to the doctor...he can help.
once you know its okay....the symptoms will probably dissipate..

Oh..btw...one condom does not prevent HIV transmission.
