Ive been pretty sick lately, what could this be?!?!!? HIV???

Ive been pretty sick lately, what could this be?!?!!? HIV??
in january i had a sinus infection, febuary i had strep, march i was throwing up, april i was pretty much ok for the most part, may i had a urinary tract infection, beginning of june i had another throat infection, and 3 days after i finished my abx i got what they thought was mono, but turned out to just be tonsilitus, what could be causing all of this? now im feeling better but my lymph nodes in my neck have been swollen for about 3 weeks and are pretty big, please help!? im scared!? ive had sex before i had a girlfriend for a year and she got the pill, but she told me she was a virgin and she had gotten bloodwork done before, but could it possibly HIV? thats my biggest concern

Your immune system is just weak. Start taking vitamins and the like to boost your immune system. If you are that concerned then go get a blood test done.

the only answer is the test..

u can have all the symptoms, and get sick all the time.. and still be HIV NEGATIVE.. it just means u have a weak immune system..prob due to stress or not eating healthy.. u need to get a HIV test done..and then go from there.!

nah
i dont think it could be.

but the best thing you can do is go and get checked.

It's pretty over the top to think it's HIV. What you have to remember is HIV makes your body get weaker and weaker defenses wise, to the point where you would not be able to fight off these infections. If you are able to get over something like tonsillitis within an amount of time that has been deemed acceptable by your doctor, there's no way you have HIV.

I agree that your defenses are weak, sometimes if we're around a lot of sick people or we don't take care of ourselves, we get sick back to back to back because our body doesn't have a chance to build back up between exposures to viruses. Also, it sounds like you're referring to the winter months mostly with being sick... so umm... it's called winter, the cold and flu season...

Sorta sounds like you need your tonsils out.

Definitely not HIV though.
