Would the (said) vampires of this world be at risk?

I mean, there's all these diseases they could catch! HIV, AIDS, and gazillions more! I did an essay on it. Wouldn't there be a certain danger to drinking another persons blood, due to the infection of over three million people with blood transmitted diseases?

Feel free to express your mind, but please keep it polite.
Details please.

The only ones that are in danger are those sanguinarian vampires that drink from random people.
Most vampires have donors, and if both parties are responsable and clever the donor always get their blood screened first, before any consuption.

I'm sorry for my previous comment.

I recently attended a seminar warning against the occult, and learned all the terrible things that some, not all, vampires do. For example: using their daughters as "blood dolls" and drinking from their menstrual blood, inserting stirring straws into the veins of victims and drinking, having "love alters" where the participants have sex on top of dead bodies, and killing people.

In my personal opinion only, I believe that all of these acts are horribly disgusting and unclean.

Yes but nearly all vampires have their donors tested and screened for these dieases. Not all drink blood there are psi vampires as well. Vampires are not like those in the movies or books, we don't drain unwilling victims of their blood. We have kind people who are called donors and they give us the blood or energy we need. Vampires are people who have energy deficiency and need to get that energy by taking it from other people. We don't die in the sun, can't fly, no super powers, can cross running water, garlic, holy water and the cross don't phase us (because we are not demons we are just different to normal people), we can see better at night than in the day, heightened senses, we do age(just not as fast) and we aren't immortal. There are three types of vampires sang vamp, psi vamp and hybrid.

Sang vamp is short for sanguinarian vampire these are the ones that need blood. They get sunburnt really fast(I can only last 30mins before getting sun burnt with sunblock on). They get sluggish durring the day but really active at night.

Psi vamp is short for psychic vampire. They don't drink blood but feed from chi energy instead. They can get this from touching somone or just being close to another person. The person doesn't even know most of the time and only feel a bit drained of energy but that goes away soon after. Most psi vamps don't even know what they are doing and can even feed while they sleep. They can also go to the astral plane.

I am a hybrid myself, we are both sang and psi vamps. I am more sang than psi though and need blood to get my energy but chi energy sustains me.

I hope that shed some light on this for you for more info feel free to email me

You know what's funny, if vampires did exist then they would have to abide by the laws of nature, such as evolution. For every creature out there, there is a disease especially suited for them. So yes, even vampires would be vulnerable to sickness.

Also if your argument is that they don't live within the realm of nature then I would first laugh and then inform you that we, humans, have been trying that for thousands of years without success.

Vampire= dead. If they did happen to catch one of the blood diseases, it would have no effect. Well, it might but they are already dead so, no, the vampires would not be at risk of catching a blood disease.

Only blood drinkers would be at risk, but donors should be more responsible and tell there vampire that they have any of these things. Psychic vampires /Emotional vampires wouldn't be at risk because they only absorb energy.

What does some wanna-be vampire that does not have a life care about dying from some horrible diseases... All they care about is being something that they can never be in reality..... Their head is so full of non-sense that there is no room for reality..................

Reality, all Vamps died back in the late 80's, early 90's from blood borne pathogens

Vampires have never existed. If they did then yes it would be risky.
