Within the last couple of days, I have suddenly developed a stye, two cold sores in my mouth, and painful bump? |
s in my left nostril and in my left ear. What could be going on? I recently feared that I was exposed to the HIV virus (although I'm not sure at all)... could this be a sign of infection, my immune system just having a breakdown like this? I want to wait six months before being tested, since they say that sometimes that's as long as it takes to show up. Possibly the stress of thinking about the possibility of HIV is part of the reason. Talk to your doctor about it. Cold sores are caused by HPV (herpes), not necessarily HIV. The bumps sound like normal zits, and the stye I'm not sure about, but I don't recall styes being caused internally. I wouldn't sweat if I were you, sometimes things just go wrong all at once. None of these things would be happening because you suddenly contracted HIV, you would notice things more like a flu and weakness, and that's only after you'd had HIV for so long that it had time to gain strength; I'm talking YEARS here. So yeah, I don't think that's it. Could be HPV which is common in about 80% of sexually active adults. The nose thing is probably just a pimple in your nose....wouldn't worry about that. The sores in your mouth may be an STD or it could just be something like a cold sore which actually is HPV....some strands of HPV aren't terrible, but you should def go to the doc. I wouldn't worry about it being HIV. Fear leaves when one knows the truth about the unknown. Yes testing is in order. Sounds more like you've ben exposed to herpes though. Best to see the doc and find out. No idea. But you should go for a full blood workup. Just incase something is going on. karma! u must set things right so good stuff will happen!! |
