Am I at risk of HIV infection? |
This kid at my school poked me with a sowing needle just to get a laugh. It didn't go in that far (just a small poke) like a tetnis shot and I don't know where it's been. The needle is like 1 inch long or less and like 1 15th of it went in in probably. There was no blood on the needle either. Am I at risk? It didn't go deep at all and it lasted less than a second you could be but i highly doubt it. especially at school. i doubt anyone had HIV. Dont worry. Slight risk, more risk of dying from an Albatross dying mid flight and hitting you on the head, while you're walking through an African desert. If someone stabbed themselfs (how had HIV) with the needle first then yes you are. needles have hiv? |
