Cat continues to vomit? |
Our cat has been vomiting for the past 3 weeks. We took her to the vet and all of her organs are perfect, no feline HIV or leukemia and no bowl obstruction from what they could see on the x-ray. She was given an antibiotic shot and given Reglan as an anti-vomiting and another oral antibiotic. She has been to the vet 3 times so far, but all they are finding is an "infection", where we don't know. Can anyone give advice for this situation. She is not eating and so she is not pooping, but she is peeing. Any advice will help. She will be going back to the vet tomorrow, but I think I need to research somethings as well since he is coming up short. Did the blood tests rule out pancreatitis? Phone your vet and ask, as this is a very dangerous condition for a cat and the continual heaving is a sign of it. I agree seek 2t opinion different vet ,after 3 weeks i could be a bad fur ball , or shes eating something constantly like lizards cockroaches thy also make cats vomit but be kind to yourself and your cat go to a different vet Is it possible that your cat got into something that it should not have? Maybe time to take your kitty to someone else for a second opinion? |
