Why are some of you against Circumcumcising people?

Don't you all realize that alot of studies have shown that circumcision (removing the foreskin of a penis) will prevent against stds including HIV. Uncircumcised people also experience about 4X more urinary infections. And we all know that disgusting filth collects under the foreskin and most people don't like the way foreskin looks. And some of you still want to keep the disgusting foreskin.

Then some of you say it is child abuse to do this to babies, I'd say it's child abuse not to have kids circumcised, they will have no memories of the surgery (which they numb and make not that painfull at all). and also for the reasons above. I'm glad my parents circumcised me as a babie and all of you should get it for your kids or yourselves if you haven't already.

Really? Not that painful? How many newborn circumcisions have you seen? Do you have any idea what they use for anesthetic? And why they scream their little hearts out?
I worked L&D, postpartum, and NICU for 29 years.
The majority of males in this country are still being circumcised [ unlike other industrial nations, where the majority aren't. - and don't have higher incidences of disease ].
I have seen babies with not enough 'trimmed' off, too much, slanted, etc. I have also seen a lot of totally healed circumcised penises [ peni?] that look like someone gnawed their foreskins off.
That disgusting filth you refer to is called smegma. It collects under the foreskin or on the end of the circumcised penis, and is easily cleaned in the shower/tub.
A totally erect penis looks the same, circumcised or au naturale.

Well we are informed, not brainwashed, ask yourself would you circumcise a baby girl based on yr arguemnt to stop cervical cancer or yeast infections, how about ovary cancer, or remove her breasts cause she could get breast cancer, America is one of the only contries that does this to babies, when the rest of 90% of the world does not, it is illegal Down uNDER,
