I am so confused and very scared!!? |
almost 2 1/2 or 3 months or so ago i took a trip the health clinic. i got testd for std's such as hiv gonorrhea chlamydia syphillis etc every thing came back fine except i had gonorrhea, and chlamydia. the clinic sent me a lettr in the mail saying that i needed to be treated for them. and i did i took the shot and drunk some kind of cure for the other. i go bac to the doc about a week or so ago, and they tell the that i have a yeast infection (i had a pap smear). i go to walmart and get monistat..3 i used it for 3 days. i still have the yellowish discharge, the foul odor, the itch and pelvic pain, and abdominal cramping!!? i dont know whats going on, could i still have the std's wat else could be wrong with me i'm so scared and nervous b/c i feel really disgusting, nd i feel like i still have something. im confused plse help! nd give me more than just a sentence if possible. Have this every happened to any of u b4 or someone u know? i've tried everything wat else can i possibly do????? yeah i was having unprotected sex thats how i got the std's. but every since i've been treated i havent been having any kind of sex Have you been having unprotected sex? You need to see your doctor. If the monistat didn't work for you, you may need a prescription strength yeast infection med. The antibiotics from the chlamydia and gonorrhea treatment are what caused the yeast infection. Yeast is kept in check by the normal bacteria of the vagina and when the bacteria is killed by an antibiotic, the yeast grows unchecked until the normal flora is re-established. Next time you take an antibiotic, try eating yogurt with live cultures at the same time, that may reduce the chance of a yeast infection. But now, go back to your doc. Well you need to be inactive (not doing it) sexually during the course of treatment or you could be reinfecting yourself. Yeast infections do NOT cause pelvic pain. Get a second opinion. The antibiotics may not have been enough and/or you may need a stronger dose. Maybe this is a wake-up call for you. Next time it could be AIDS or something worse. Take time and evaluate why you are engaging in behavior that could put your life at risk. No sex is so great that it is worth dying for. Sex is NOT casual. It is very serious. Through it life can be brought forth (babies) and DEATH (AIDS). Please seek help. I'm HIV positive And I will encourage you to please use condoms. With HIV you can live your life as normal as possible but its very difficult. I have been blessed to have a negative child but being positive I have to go the extra mild to live to be there for my child. that in particular hasn't happened to me, but i did manage to contract an std from my bf of over 2 years and were both monogomus. u could still have something i would go to another doctor and get a second opinion and may be get retested just to be safe. |
