Why do people call Asian women submissive when in reality they just have more class then other women?

Personally I love Asian women, I think there is something very special about them, I love the way they look physically and believe they have beautiful souls. But I hate when people say that men who love Asian women do so because they are submissive, docile, or don't stand up for themselves. I really don't understand this, why do people take Asian women with high morales, grace, and classiness and try to take it as a weakness. Women talk about being independent, strong, and progressive but I don't really see it. More and more when these days are having kids at younger ages and out of wedlock, where as you don't see that with Asian women. Asian women women also on average are higher paid then women of other races, and also have a higher percentage of getting of getting college degrees then any other race. Also look at the skyrocketing HIV and STD infections in women, its happening to all women except you guessed it Asian women. Look at the women you see in public that are extremely loud and cursing, and then look at the Asian who carry themselves with class and don't have to resort to using that gutter language. Look at the the women who need to wear revealing clothes to get attention, you rarely see this with Asian women. Look at the divorce rates, Asian women have the lowest divorce rates of any women. How can anyone honestly believe Asian women are submissive and docile when they are so much more successful, why would they even want to act like American women?

In all honesty which one sounds more independent and progressive?
Asian women
-On average are paid higher
-On average more likely to hold a college degree
-Less likely to have have children at a very young age
-Less likely to have children out of wedlock
-Less likely to catch Aids and STD's
-Lower divorce rate
-Doesn't have to resort to dressing reveling to get attention

or

American women
-On average paid less the Asian women
-Less likely to hold college degrees then Asian women
-More likely to have children out of wedlock
-More Likely to have children at a younger age
-More likely to catch Aids or STD
-Higher divorce rate
-more likely to wear revealing clothes

Now honestly who seems like the progressive and independent one, and which one seems like a train wreck?

The problem with American women is that they think being rude to men, being pro miscues, and basically having no morales or direction some how makes them free and independent. As for Asian women I hope they never become completely Americanized, I hope they keep their sweet, classy, and caring personalities. I want them to know there are tons of men out their who love them and don't believe the submissive/docile BS.

It's usually american women jealous because their men are being taken away by someone with more class / a better attitude than them. So they try to sabotage it by calling the women "submissive" Nothing makes feminist american more miserable than seeing their american men in good, happy relationships. lol screw them.

I totally agree with you. Besides, I think it is demeaning that men have to be the standard of perfection. Even IF they were docile, why is that a bad trait. Sometimes we need followers to support and execute the ideas of a leader. Some women (Asian too) are naturally born leaders, a few probably curse; but generally, they have more conduct and manners than women here. Call it what you will (submissiveness, manners etc) but I do not see it as a bad trait. They are more accepting and appreciative of their natural tendencies and roles. Peace.

You make the poitns from one side of the debate team, and that's great. I've only really known two Asian women (not Asian-American_ well, so it's not enough.
But hey, don't you ever ask ME to walk ten feet behind, as they do in Japan!
I'd much rather be the well-respected mother, who stays home to teach the children, whose word is not law but holds heaviest weight, as it is in one culture I'm thinking of.
And one in which women do NOT walk behind their men, but walk at his side, and he at hers. If she doesn't get to go slightly ahead when there's a narrow pass.

Thank you really .. u got it right. i believe its the traditional cultural value that still exists in the asian community.. traditional yet modern and classy.(getting the best of both worlds/concept)
wow at least someone felt that way.. its really hard to change the mindset of other people if the media keeps potraying asians as submissive dumb etc..

You have a great view about Asian women. The problem is as of today in Asian countries, Men are very dominating over women. In couple of Asian countries I know a bit about, a man can beat his wife with no recourse from the law; I know a Chinese woman who divorced her husband because he was very physical with her in the U.S; this same woman submitted herself to me after leaving a club with me and without me insinuating that I wanted sex. I think most are infatuated when American men are gentlemen; and most men take that as the women being easy; but in fact she is just turned on by something she more than likely is not use to from most Asian men. Search Google for how women are treated in Vietnam or China...etc. You will understand more of what I'm saying. Ask an Asian woman that is separated or divorced or has a lot of Asian girlfriends, about Asian men in there country and how they are here when not in public; this will have to be a woman that really trust you; if she likes you she trust you, just ask.

wow flattering cool!!! and i agree i am asian but there are still "westernized" asian woman too so we have both the asian class and ect but we are also very out going and stand up for ourselves like american/canadian woman

you must have a problem with american women since yhou just wrote the longest question in the history of answers. asian women are just as sneaky and lowdown as any, they hide it behind that so called class you refer to, which is just to fool you idiots who have no respect for your own race, jacka**
