Have you ever taken a Blood Oath?

Me and my love have been dating for a year now. Yesterday, we took a blood oath to be together forever. Thats when you cut your palm and then put them together. Yes, some may find it creepy, but we feel even closer now. Yes, Im aware of dangers like infection, and HIV. I come from a background of medicine, both my parents are Paramedics. I trust her and love her with everything I am, so I dont want to hear about dangers.
I was just wondering, have anyone else on here done that?

i did take a blood oath.... on an alter. I will never ever be captured alive..... ever for any reason.

I wount take an oath like that, if I broke that I would never forgive myself.
