Is the western world hiding something from developing countries about Aids??

western people have i think the lowest morals and the most unconsertive behavior towards sex which is another popular way aids spreads. funny anough they have the lowest HIv and Aids infection than in india and africa where the behavior towards sex is very different. how is this, are they conspiring ?

Conspiring? Not at all. I think the developing countries like India and Africa are lying about their sexual behavior.

we are not conspiring its just that the majority of us aren't that stupid enough not to use a condom. A lot are but not as much as the alledged 3rd world.

I think the western world is trying its level best to combat this problem at the moment the WHO the world health organisation are trying to take steps to reduc the spread of the infecrtion and the west are doing wqhat they can to come up with a cure to stop this virus and the first people who will get this cure are the developing countries

i think its about access and education

remembering that some cultures where HIV has spread dramatically have a more conservative attitude to sex do so because of religious reasons. basically their religion tells them that using condoms is wrong. the pope still today tells his followers that birth control and the use of a condom is against god's will.

therefore alot of the education has a cultural or religious basis which..... in my humble opinion..... is dangerous at this point in time. This is western religion that was brought to these cultures by the by but that is a different story.

of course then there is access. they dont have access to the same combination therapies as we do in the west. there are people who, if they had the same medication as you or i could get, would not die.

still drug companies refuse to help as much as they need to with increasing supply. but these countries just dont have the financial resources to do it.

maybe this is the conspiracy you speak of..... the conspiracy to let some have a drug that will help them live and let others die knowing that they could be saved

It's pretty simple, in the US, everyone is pretty open and honest about sex, and this makes the procurement of prophylactics a common-place practice.

In India, you don't want to be caught purchasing them.

In Africa they aren't as available.

The problem with developing countires is that they have no sex education. They aren't aware of the dangers of unprotected sex and/or don't have the means to aquire things like condoms.

There are various charities in other countries that are desperately trying to educate people who are vulnerable. Unfortunately there are so many people with aids that the number can only get bigger before it gets smaller.

In the republic of south africa, there are several "cures" being touted for aids, for example: ginseng, vitamin C.....even having s*x with a virgin/young girl.
The minister in charge of aids was recently accused of rape, which he deined (he got off) but he did admit to consentual s*x with a casual aquintance without any sort of protection!!

There are certain s*xual practices in africa which make it easier to spread the disease (i.e. the practice of dry s*x, where the woman uses various methods to suppress lubrication, increasing friction, but also making it easier for any virus to find a tear/abrasion or lesion)
in poor countries, there is less money to spend on 'luxury' items - even for a condom.

Medical knowledge is desseminated through many means, not least the internet. It would be very difficult for 'western nations' to do anything which would affect whole populations, while, at the same time, keeping that knowledge away from developing nations

in third world country when they hear this disease,in order to educate the people first they might have approach the villages and taking statistic sand and spreading awareness.
but in western may be these things are in paper and in conferences,thinking their people are more educated and open.
however aids is not a new disease it might have got some other name according to the local language used.,in different areas

Western civilization use condoms, because our media is bombing us with fear of AIDS. I think that majority of young population think about AIDS before having sex. Than education about sex is also help full. In elementary school classes teach us already how to use save protection. I think that in Africa is a lot of people religious. Christianity forbids condoms, and maybe this people believe it is sin to use condoms. In EU most people do not believe that. In my country some people start relationship after they show each other AIDS tests and prove they are not infected. The practice is not used in majority but a lot of people is doing that.

i dont think its true that western people have the most unconservative sexual behaviour - i think it is just more widely acceptable and open here. There is much evidence that hundreds of men in Africa, especially Malawi and Zambia, visit different prostitutes regurlaly and then also sleep with their wives. and obviously there is much normal promiscuous sexual behaviour with both sexes. however the western world are screwing over the developing world in terms of medicine and education. huge drugs companies have patented many drugs to treat AIDS so that cheaper (and just as effective) versions cannot be bought by people in Africa etc. George Bush has also banned any aid going to clinics treating pregnant women with aids if they also perform abortions.
so basically our governments support huge drugs firms that prevent lots of treatment being available because guess what....they make 拢拢拢拢拢 out of it.

I donot think any hidden plan by Western Coutries.AIDs in poor countries is due to lack of proper education and awareness.Moral values in Asian Countries is high is a myth.Prostitution,Polygamy.Secret sex pacts are very much there in these countries.Big prostitution dens in Mumbai,Kolkatta Chennai and New Delhi spread aids.The influx of Nigerians and Africans with aids,who seek cheap educational facilites is another reason.African/Nigerian drug mafia is very strong.The West has no role in this.
