How can i get a tattoo if i'm underage?

i'm fifteen and i really want a tattoo of a little red heart on the fatty area between my bottom and hip bone. my parents won't ever let me. is there any way i can do that myself or get it done professionally without my parents? i don't wanna go to a cheap place and end up with an infection or hiv.

Well the only way that you could get one is with parental consent, if you get one without them knowing then you would have to break the law. Why don't you just wait until your 18?

See thats the problem. If you don't go to a legitimate tattoo shop your chances of getting an infection of diseases increases. Why don't you just wait the extra 3 years before you get one. I'm sure you'll be happy that you waited. The tattoos I wanted to get at 15 are ones that I wouldn't want today

It may look so cute for now. But it will be unrecognizable when that fatty area gets saggy. Is that a heart tattoo or a dead bug?

Wait a few years when you are of legal age but while living under your parent's roof, don't go against their word. You have to be of age when getting tats anyway. <3

The only places that will tattoo you if you're underage without parental permission is a crappy place that will likely be cutting corners in the hygiene department. They are breaking the law if they don't ask for proof of your age already, so why should they care about reusing needles or tattoo ink? It's a dangerous idea.

It sucks waiting, but not as much as it sucks getting an infection in your tattoo or worse, any std from reused needles. Seriously, please, for me and you, wait until you're 18 and can go to a clean professional. They'll make your tattoo beautiful instead of scarred up and nasty. You can wait. We all had to, you can do it. I promise.

wait til you are old enough. you are too young to even know what you want. i waited til i was 21. tattoos are permanent. think long and hard before you get one. you only have 3 more years anyways.. just wait it out

You think its cool to get a tatoo at 15? Get one and you will regret it later in life. Trust me .

get a henna tat and keep getting it redone and get use to it that way if you dont like it it will go away. and if u still like it in three years get it.thats what i did

be patient... you'll be able to get it done safely and legally in 3 years... you can wait 3 years, and you'll be glad you did.. I'm glad you care about not getting an infection... your body is worth the wait... it's not worth it to do it at home or go to a scratcher to get it done... you want it to be pretty, right? just wait and go to a reputible shop when you're 18... it's worth the wait, trust me....make it something special... go on your 18th birthday....

i got mine when i went to maui. they took my boyfriends license and info and did the tattoo on me. it's the islands. they're laid back.

I'm facing the same problem. I want it on my hip as well.

There are things to consider though, Like everyone is telling me when/if i get pregneant that the tatoo will stretch out and crap, but i just ignore them. I have 3 tatoo ideas that i will get done.

do not do it yourself, you will definately regret it, also you will not be able to find the colored ink so it will look like a jail tattoo
