What is the best Sub-Saharan African country to move to?

Anything Sudan and Under.

Low poverty rate
Low HIV/AIDS infection rate
Strong/Improving Economy
Decent Government

Equatorial Guinea. That's officially the richest African country if we compare PPP, AIDS infection rate is lower than its naighbours', HDI is quite high for an African country, thus there is less poverty, and as most of African economies, its economy is growing.

Botswana, Namibia and South Africa have world's highest HIV/AIDS infection rate, not to mention that South Africa has one of the world's highest crime rates.

Still, my choice would be Nigeria...for some personal reasons;)

Cameroon in West/Central Africa. Its beautiful. You should check it out. It is nicknamed " Mini Afrique", which istrongly believe it is.

How about the Canary Islands? It's not in sub-Saharan Africa, but it's sweet there!

Mozambique and Malawi are both nice countries with growing economies and decent governments. It's hard to avoid poverty in Africa and the same is true for HIV/AIDS but both countries have taken positive steps towards both.

You put up some pretty tough criteria.

But check out Botswana and/or Namibia.

I would say Ghana. I used to live in Ghana and for me it was a very comfortable, friendly, relaxing country to live in. The people were very welcoming and respectful. Even though Ghana has a developing economy and their was evident poverty their was less pressure and stress in everyday living compared to other countries. I choose Ghana because of the improving economy, decent government, and low crime rate.

In Ghana for the most part the weather was pleasant year round. Some storms but no Tornadoes, Hurricanes or earthquakes.

As far as for foreign exchange in Ghana, if your income is in U.S. dollars or other developed countries currencies you will have a larger return once converted into Ghana's currency the cedi.
