My boyfriend's in the hospital sick (is HIV+,born with it) he was going to get a procedure done in the OR?

due to an infection in his sinuses. So i decided to catch a cab to see him and i decided to sleep over. The nurse tells me i couldnt stay because I wasnt his wife but she said to forget it: one because it was 2am and two because she knows im like hes wifey. That night, after the nurse left the room he told me that after he left the hospital he wanted us to get married. I asked him what for and he tells me so i can have all the benefits like staying over and then he didnt finish.

I want to know is he scared to tell me the rest of why he wants to get married? I mean my fear is that hes doing it to do it and not because he wants to and he feels ready for it. Our relationship is wonderful and i love him, and i know he loves me. We talk and we make our relationship work in every way possible.
But how am i supposed to be feeling? Do i take it seriously? Cause at times when i bring it up, i feel like he tries to avoid the conversation. HELP!

Your boyfriend is the only person who knows why he wants to marry you, we may come up with all the possible suggestions but he is the one who ultimately knows why, so try by all means to get him to tell you, tell him that marriage is a very serious issue to you and that if he loves you(although it's evident he does)he will tell you of his plans for your(yours and his)future.gudluck will be crossing fingers for you!!!!!BUT OFCOURSE DON'T STALK HIM!just give him all the time he needs but, he is ur only solution and no one else!!!prayers 4 2 of you!!!!!

i think he does want to marry u but hes scared that u might not want him because of him having HIV.but if u love him u will give him time,when hes ready to talk about it he will.listen to Ur heart.let him know that u will always be there for him.the question is r u ready to get married?hes probably got alot of fears.just give him alittle,time hell come around and open up on everything.hang in there girl,if Ur in love with him.

First let me apologize, for I am going to be blunt. He knows he has a disease that doesn't let people live as long as they would if he wasn't HIV+. He's knows he's not going to be able to grow old with you and live a normal life. I think his biggest fear is that something bad such as death or his sickness continues to get worst, he is going to leave you alone. Even through marriage vows state: through sickness and through health, It's the "until death do we part" is the scariest line of all when you truly just want to be with someone forever.
