How do I know if my man has HIV or an STD? |
I wanna have sex with a guy that i am in love with and i want to get pregnant but i dont want to get a disease or infection. Are their signs of having these? you got to ask him.... Have a doctor check him. Go with him and have an aids test together, its the ONLY way to check and then if he has had sex with someone with aids, it may not show up for a few years i have heard yet it can still be spread. are you married to this guy? if not, thats a bad idea. If your are having sex with him then ask him. If you don't trust him then you are not ready to have his baby. My ob/gyn gives you a health card that says, "no infections as of _-__-__. <---Date. First if you are willing to have sex with him, and willing to have a baby with him, you should trust him enough that you should be able to ask him, however you or him could have something and not know it, some things such as HPV or Herpes may never show symptoms and doctors don't just check for those things unless you think you could have been exposed or if there are symptoms. Also if you are ready for that step, he should also be willing to go with you and the both of you be tested for the STD's that can be tested for. If you don't trust his word or if he can't respect your request of being tested, stop thinking about sex and babies for now!! Good Luck! asking dont mean nothing girl go to the doctor together you never knows a man past and its too many DL brothers out here anyway girl go get atest Both of you need to go and get a full workup. Why are you aksing a question like this. It is obvious what you need to do. Are you scared of what you may hear? Why do you want to get pregnant? How long have you been together? Is he the man you want to be connected with for the rest of your life? If you have a child with him, you will have to keep in touch with him regardless of how your relationship pans out. Are you ready to become a mother? I know I don't know you, but by you asking the above question I don't think that you are ready for a sexual relationship. Take your time. It sounds like you love this guy and want to have a baby with him really quickly to tie him to you. Bad idea unless you like playing Russian roulette with your life. My advice is-slow down, see your doctor together with him and get a full blood workup for you both with the agreement that the doctor can release both results to the other. If you don't get him to give this consent ahead of time-forget it. Because if it comes back positive he may not reveal this to you -so you're just wasting your time. I have to say also that if you have doubts -then this means you don't know him well enough to be having his baby. I think you should slow down and rethink this. |
