Is 17.549% the same as half. I'm confused about maths? |
The web site for the scare AIDS movie claims: - Sorry. Corrected link: - For one thing, (from what you posted) it says the total of ALL ages... that means every one from 0 to 99. It also states that half of the new cases occur when people are under 25. The total number also includes the people that contracted the disease when they were under 25 and are older now. When they hit 25, the disease doesn't disappear. So in that 45,669 cases, thousands of those people are over 25, but may have contracted the disease before the age of 25. Also it says people DIAGONISED in 2005... that number does not include the people under 25 who were diagonised in 2003, 2004, or 2006. The fact is just saying that when people contract it, half are under 25 (even though they may not be under 25 anymore). Well, your link page isn't there so who knows what it might have said. |
