Question about homosexuals?

I have recently been researching the prevalence and increase of HIV infection rates among homosexual men and women and found that though homosexuals constitute less than 1% of the US population, they account for more than half of those currently living with HIV. Whatever the reasons, and they are many, deplorably irresponsible behavior among homosexuals clearly represents an ongoing threat to public health. Is there anything I can do to publicize this message in my area (live in the NYC area) and to combat homosexual behavior and publicity campaigns that promote homosexuality as something that should be "accepted"?

You can write to newspapers with your details and talk at churches schools etc. You are prepared to stand out and be counted congratulations.~~

your data seems a bit off, claiming the ratio of Homosexuals in the US population is 1%, while studies indicate that up to 20% of males, and no less than 10% have homosexual tendencies.
I agree that sexual practice of homosexuals greatly increase the possibility of HIV infection, but I think your data is a little biased, probably because males, when infected with HIV, confess their homosexual tendencies, but uninfected males keep their preferences secret.

I don't know where you got your statistics but they are being twisted to suit an anti homosexual agenda. Yes Men are the largest number of people living with the disease however you leave out the fact that over half of those men were infected before 1984. Now the largest growing population of new infections is Women between the ages of 16 and 27 years old, and they are being infected through heterosexual sex.
