AIDS Cured ! So many MIRACLE CURES, But How?

I request all here to answer My Question in reference to the saved life of a HIV patient
Help me confirm if it is a Miracle, Mystery, Lie, Self Healing power of a Human Body, Spiritual Healing, Efficiency of Alternate Therapies, OR What more ?

It is like reading NEWS backwards,
A person clears HIV infection permanently without treatment

"The headline news of mid-Nov of this year, when the British press announced that Andrew Stimpson, a 25-year-old with AIDS, had apparently been cured"

Why can't we encourage the last remaining patients among our family & friends to live longer life with our Love, Words, Prayers, Spiritual power OR with vast options of Alternate Therapies for CURE?

I expected ANSWERer to be from among survivors of the Disease !

As a fellow Human why should not we encourage someone who is a legal medical professional 'Alternate THERAPIST' treats MANY & CURE few (atleast accidently) while other professionals keep pronouncing END for all of us with a CHALLENGE

I find it highly unlikely that these stories (both of which come from websites for alternative therapy and not published news sources) are more propaganda than anything else. There are several things to consider.

First, did the individuals actually have HIV/AIDS? There is always the possibility of a false positive on a test. This is why the ELISA test that is used for HIV testing is always supposed to be confirmed by a Western Blot test. Two positive results then classify you as being HIV positive.

Second, it is possible for individuals to be positive with no outlying symptoms for years before problems arise.

Third, even HIV positive individuals that have been on modern antiretroviral therapy can get to the point where the virus can not be detected in the blood. The fact remains that the virus has been found to hide in areas like the brain, meaning it is never truly gone.

The test for any of these cases, would be to confirm that the protein markers for HIV did, in fact, exist before and are no longer present now. These individuals would also need to be monitored for years to come, to ensure that no symptoms arise at a later date.

In all honesty, I think this is simply a case of wishfull thinking and outright propaganda.

My friend there are increasing cases of this happening also in Brazil where people diagnosed with aids have been cured in short time. I personallly feel that recovery is connected to the ability of the body to fight disease and also the belief that spiritual forces help and the earths natural alternative health remedies, also help us heal. The "cured" aids cases in Brazil were reported among devout Evangelics! I have no reason to disbelieve them.It is also happening in India and China as well. More and more westerners are heading East for health cures, including cancer!

Some peoples' immune systems must be able to overcome the virus in rare cases. Also, it has been proven that the descendants of those who survived the Black Plague in Europe are immune to AIDS, which equals to 10% of the European population.

I dont intend to take the wind out of your sails but there has been a lot of hoax going around with people claiming to have been HIV positive and now they are cured.............. If they are asking for people to go there and pay some money for the treatment, then they are crooks....... I have worked with HIV for almost 10 years now and i have seen a couple of people claim that they were prayed for and cured only to die later of the disease.
You have to understand that even after this long we still have a lot of stigma when it comes to HIV most especially it says that one had sex, and we dont want to be seen as the promiscuous.
Its always possible that the individual was not HIV positive at the start and he had got false positive results........
There is a reseach paper on Kenyan women who have a body chemical that actually kills off the virus but this is like a very small number of people.

All in all, i would and dont advise you to get convinced that someone can completely get rid of the virus.

i dont believe it. they must have had a false positive, AIDS/HIV IS A MEDICAL DISEASE. PRAYERS AND HAPPY BUNNIES DOSENT CURE IT!

I think your sources tell us of the quality in this area.

Your miracles article starts with a 1910 paper before the molecular identifiation of cancer was possible. Even the word deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) was not invented then. How could such a case provide reliable evidence for todays healthcare?

Your case studies webpage belongs to GP Insitiute in India. They claim to have cured 200 people but can not afford in most cases DNA tests either diagnostic or more sentitive research methods to convincingly proove their point. They havn't even been able to give good evidence of HIV in the first place. They are not researchers and nor do they use research ethics. The director and chief physician seems to be the only person named and they do not have any publications at all on PubMed -not even a letter to a journal, perhaps one dedicated to alternative therapies. There is no mention of research but plenty on 'pharmaceutical' sales. Given 200 treated/cured, it is unethical not to research the phenomenon formally unless they are more likely to make money with out it...Imagine the money if it really did work!. Publishing lists of patient names has been considered unethical by medical and research practies for decades.

Last word on Simpson I believe was that he had gone off in a huff and would not return for further tests. Did he have HIV? Does he still?

Lastly you ask if we can encourage patients with love, alternative, etc Yes but should it be at the expense of traditional medicine known to work in the sceintific sense of the word? It has been tragic for me to see young guys die of HIV in 2006 because they could not accept Western medicine.

Ps The decendants of the Black Plague are not *immune* to HIV - they are resistant meaning it takes more to infect them. They are more resistant to early stage rather than late stage virus.
