Yeast infection.....?

my sister has been with her boyfriend for about 2years and they have a baby well he started working out of town and she cheated on him 1 time now like the very next night or it may have been 2 nights she got a yeast infection i guess my question is if it could be something esle i told her to go to the doctor but they dont have insurance..... anyway the guy said that he had hiv but then started laughing and said he was kidding what should she do and what do ya think it could be...

She needs to get to a planned parenthood or a family planning clinic and get checked out.

Could be lots of stuff.....the clap comes to mind....or it could be a yeast infection......But I would definately go get checked out.....she can go to the health department....they can tell her where to go with no insurance....maybe they could even check her....and even though he said he was kidding I would get screened for HIV as well.....and she really needs to tell her boyfriend! What if he wasn't kidding? She doesn't need to pass that on to him.

She could very well have contracted a sexually transmitted disease, many of which have symptoms that are similar to yeast infection. I think I read recently that there is an over-the-counter test you can take now that will diagnose yeast infection -- you might have your sister ask about this at her local drug store. She really needs to get tested for STDs immediately -- if she did contract an STD and she ignores it, she may end up with permanent damage to her reproductive system that could prevent her from ever being able to have children again. She should be able to get FREE testing for STDs -- she should call Planned Parenthood or check her local phone book for free or low-cost health clinics. Most cities have clinics that offer these services.

Good luck!

If it's yeast she can get over-the-counter medicine at her local drug store. If the guy is joking about hiv, she needs to ditch him and stop cheating on her husband.

She can go to Planned Parenthood for a culture test and STD's test.
