HIV/AIDS in India. is govt. data reliable ?

Govt. of India has come up with new data which indiacates new infection of virus is slown down.

and HIV/AIDS is not as serious public health issue as much as it was supposed to be in the past.

what do you think ?

i don"t know about figures in past but today situation is getting worse, millions in India are infected.

less than 25% come to know the reason of there early death

rest 75% never come to know about there HIV positive status, and they silently die from oppurtunistic infections as result of HIV/AIDS.

I myself waana see life suceeding over the disease, but not in the numbers but on ground.

today there are millions who are infected with HIV in India.

most of them who says it"s a myth live in invory towers.

I just hope things improve in future.

Govt. is acting to it"s best, lets hope some day we see a real reversal in figures.

maybe they stopped passing out the virus.

its not abt govt data. there is lot of money involved in the AIDS prevention project. there are lot of NGOs working in this field. there are billions of dollers are coming from abrod. truly speaking the AIDS becomes bread winners for the thousands of so called social worker. To keep their income alive the figures are somtime created.

eh i personally will never trust indian govt you never know about them

I don't trust government data. It always seems to show how well the government is doing but in the people's perception the results never show up.
Who would you trust?

Well according to BBC south-east Asia, the report on AIDS it seems was exaggerated and the infection was many times lower then was reported, so this may done by the Govt to hide their mistake.

maybe the many organizations' work has finally produced results. maybe people are being careful about using the same needles again and again.

The government of India CANNOT be trusted. First of all, more than half of the government is corrupt, and India tends to exaggerate everything in the matter of it's own supposed 'goodness'. The government will not think twice before praising India, even if it is a false statement.

So, the new data that the virus infection has slowed down, has got to be a lie. It definitely cannot be less, but could possibly be more than in the past.

i can tell you, data publish by govt.is wrong,it indicate only tip of ice-burg.as a doctor i am consulting at least 2-3 patient per day who don't know they are positive.make compultion to test hiv before marrige,opration,joining any job and watch the result,it will be mind shaking.

govt.only gives the available data,only details survey can
give the true pictures . no such survey done so far.

No, there are thousands of people dying over the country. What does a minister know, he just wants to prove that his ministry is working in the most efficient way and more funds to be alloted next time to erradicate the disease.
Makeing fool is so easy , shameless declaration.

AIDS IS A SERIOUS ISSUE. BUT PEOPLE BECAME CAUTIOUS OF THIS AND HENCE EVERY OE IS USING THE CONDOMES AND IS SLOLY BECOMING LESS SERIOUS
