Help Me Out i dont know if i could have gotten HIV/Aids or infections from my cut, help me out?

yesterday i was playing some volleyball,
it was my turn to serve so i hit it with my thumb
and all of sudden i got cut from doing it

i then noticed all the blood from the middle of my thumb
i just ignored it and wipe the blood in my other hands palm

i didnt go wash my hands until i stop playing like 15 minutes later

i think some of the blood was on the ball but i dont know what my thumb could have got
since i keep serving it and didnt wash it

What can the others player be worried about
if my blood was on the ball
and all i know i never had sex

I would (NOT) fear HIV since you aren't sexually active and haven't had a blood transfusion the chance of you giving someone aides is pretty small - and in the future a coach or teacher should stop the 'play' and get a new ball and wipe down that one - and treat any player bleeding -

I wouldn't worry about it.

I'm confused. Are you worried about contacting HIV from getting a cut from a volleyball or are you worried about your teammates contacting HIV from your blood?

First off, there are other factors to contacting HIV/AIDS, not just sex. That you need to first educate yourself on how the virus is contacted and secondly think about your physical habits. You would have known you were HIV before you got the cut so your concern about your teammates should end there. And it wouldn't be a good idea to say something to your teammates about it either.

Unless you put your cut thumb in a HIV/AID carrier's body fluid, you haven't contacted it..

.

i don't think u caught aids from that unless u know of someone with aids that exchanged blood with you

u should just clean it with some alcohol, but if u really think u caught something u should go to the doctor real fast cuz ids can be prevented if treated early.
