More than 27,000 new HIV infections in Europe in 2006: report?

Lessons are not being learnt.
Are people still tha ignorant about HIV/AIDS?
Or is it a "it will never happen to me " thing?

I found this article quite interesting and in light of your question, it may provide part of the statistics. The women were quoted as saying condoms were too businesslike for their exotic fantasies. I guess as long as they are enjoying themselves as they age, their longevity is really not a factor.

omg

shocking, its horrible, i remember 1s having unprotected sex and feeling soo stupid afterwards,

its madness, for 5 min pleasure, you ruin your life

am really interested in knowing more, plz email me if you fancy to talk more :)

It's ignorance. A lot of heterosexuals still see aids as the gay plague. How silly can they be.

Most of the new cases are from immigrants who come to Europe from subsaharia. In their own country H.I.V. infection is a death sentence, in Europe they get treated. The only problem for the European countries is that it is set to bring an already unsteady N.H.S. to its knees. It is a timebomb that the N.H.S. will not be able to cope with. Doctors have been warning the government for years to at least test immigrants for H.I.V. as they do in other countries but no, according to the British fools who are in government, that would go against their "human rights".

It's definately becoming an epidemic a lot of men/women are having one night stands with strangers unprotected and a lot of people don't know they have it till years later. It's just the same when people have unprotected sex and say i will never get pregnant IT DOES HAPPEN lol
