Can you get hiv if there is menstrual blood in toilet water? |
I was using a public toilet the other day. I noticed there was something looked like menstrual blood at the bottom of the toilet. It's around the size of a quarter dollar. But I never had the experience of water splash before. So then I directly used the toilet without flushing it first. Some toilet water splashed on my private area. Am I at risk of hiv infection? I am freaking out!! Thanks! There is no risk...so yes you are freaking out. No worries! that was nasty of you to use the restroom without flushing the toliet first.. u should have did that firsy..but i would go get checked to assure that htings are ok or ask the doctor The would be no risk, the water would have had to get into your body, not just on it. And if the water splashed you said the blood was at the bottom of the toilet, and if it was there it would not rise. did it go in u? HIV is quite fragile and doesn't live very long outside the body so I don't believe you were at risk. |
