Is There A High HIV Risk? |
A few days ago I was washing my hands in a public bathroom. When I was getting my hands wet I noticed that there was a blood mucus stuck on the sink drain. But what really worries me is that I remember that I had a very little cut in my hand. I never touched the blood mucus with my hands. But do you think there are any risks for getting the HIV infection?Assuming that the blood mucus was infected. Don't sweat it! As long as you didn't get close to it at ALL theres nothing to worry about. HIV gets transfered through blood and sex. You will most likely have anything as long as you didnt touch it. Just to make sure, go get a test, but dont be nervous you wont have anything. How could you if you never touched the blood? Um dont worry about it. if the cut was still open and you touched the blood mucas then yes thier would be a risk but only if the blood in the musas was HIV positive and it got inside you cut to your blood stream. I say that you are safe There is risk if only your open wound has come in contact with the blood by physical touch or via the water.Anything else is no.If you are worried get tested after a 3 months.TC if u didnt touch it your fine HIV from a small cut has a very very low risk. Don't worry, if you have not touched it then the risk is even lower(or maybe there isn't a risk at all) |
