For how much time the HIV+ virus in open air can remain alive?

i was in an hotel i was sitting on the bed watching tv i called room service ordered my lunch in the room while eating my lunch on the bedsheet i saw some stains on the bedsheets, i just have a doubt if that stain was of HIV+ SEMEN and accidently if some germs have entered my mouth will i get HIV INFECTION

Dont panic. HIV can't survive in open air. It needs a host to replicate itself. So unless the semen is fresh and you've had oral surgery, there's really no way of contracting the diesease.

hey rahul.. hiv virus is in inactive form when it is in env.. n u dont have to bothr abt it... when it entr into our body it starts replicating.. so that the answer....

You'll be infected with HIV only if you had unprotected sexual intercourse. It can also be through blood transfusion, HIV pregnant moms to their unborn babies and drug addicts who used an infected needle.
You can't get HIV by eating, even the saliva of an infected person won't make you HIV positive.
in you're case, you're not even 100% sure if the stain you saw was even infected. so relax, just tell the hotel that your room is not clean.
