Hiv phobia..barbershop!?

1)recently i had a cut when the barber shaved my moustache. before shaving he applied foams(soap). will i carry the risk of hiv infection?

2) my scalp is very dry and may contain some broken skin/pimple skin at times(not always). he cleans the machine after cutting the hair of every customer with a piece of tissue.is there a chance that i can get hiv infected?

You said it yourself - you have an irrational fear of HIV. Unless you lead the lifestyle that makes you susceptible, I wouldn't worry about it.

I think you are probably over reacting but your concerns are certainly valid. If you are that worried about it then I suggest you talk to your barber about his hygiene issues (at least for you) and talk to your doctor about it. Your doctor can give you an HIV test. Good luck!
