HIV and AIDS affect on on people are what?

Between 5.5 and 6 million people in South Asia are estimated to be living with HIV/AIDS. What are the social, economic and spatial factors most likely to put people in the region at risk of HIV infection? What are some strategies that governments and NGOs in the region can employ to educate people, to improve and accelerate their responses to HIV/AIDS, and in general, to lessen the region鈥檚 vulnerability to the epidemic?

How about giving the estimated 5 million people propper nutritious food to eat, how about providing adequate and affordable health care to these people. How about providing proper housing and sanitary conditions. How about providing clean drinking water to drink....what does the WHO and UN-AIDS want to give them? Condoms and HIV Medications....

I think to combat AIDS will be multi organization task. It is not as simple as governmental role to legislate drugs law, monogamy etc. Issue should be rooted in our personal care and role. As a unit, we should also contribute to prevent drugs user - esp in SEA, multi sexual partners - this is even difficult as the choice is on personal ground, avoiding sexually transmitted blood products etc.

The effect on people "diagnosed" with HIV/AIDS depends on their understanding and gullibility level. If they accept the spurious diagnosis techniques used in Africa, and they accept the unproven hypothesis that HIV is the cause of ANYTHING - then chances are they are going to kill themselves by ingesting the toxic drugs prescribed by local healthcare, in the service of big pharma abroad.

The strategy that local governments and NGOs can employ to combat the so-called "epidemic" is to stop blaming the fictional "boogie-man" of HIV and start addressing the real health problems of the region, namely nutrition and hygiene.

Start in the schools with teens and show them what AIDS does.Have speakers.Kids are just not taught how you pay when you get it.I'm 6 years and my whole life has changed
