Can you get infection or HIV or any other disease for getting a cut from a bracelet and how sure are you?thanx

Yes, you can get a bacterial infection, but not HIV. There is also a possibility you could get tetanus from the metal in the bracelet. Keep an eye on it and if the redness/swelling increases, or there's yellow or green pus, see a doctor.

HIV is only transmitted by exchange of bodily fluids such as blood or semen. The virus does not live long outside the body. It cannot be transmitted by casual contact or by touching something once touched by a person with HIV. Of that I am Absolutely Positive.

if the bracelet had spit or cu/\/\ on it or blood,
then yea...

You maybe could a mild infection if you did not clean the cut but HIV i doubt because you would need to mix blood with someone else to get that

if your open cut comes into contact with another persons cut and tat person has hiv, there is a possibility, although a very slim one.

there are other blood diseases you can catch easier.

No, unless that bracelet came in contact with bodily fluids or the cut came in contact with bodily fluids (except saliva) But you should get a test it is actually becomming part of the check up process for people from 14 to 32.

there is like a 1% chance you can get HIV from a cut as it would involve an infected person's blood going into your cut.

If you are in grave doubt I would go see a doctor and get a blood test

The only way that you can contract an HIV or AIDS virus is through either:

a) blood
b) semen

So unless the person wearing the bracelet before you is positive for any of those diseases and had opened cuts on their wrists where the bracelet rubbed against, and you put it on and the blood entered cuts in the exact same places on your wrists and entered your bloodstream, then no. But you never know! Be careful.

Anytime there is broken skin, you risk getting an infection. You can only get HIV if you come directly in contact with body fluids of someone who has it. Any particular reason you think it may have been on the bracelet?
