You sure you didn't hear HPV, not HIV. Both HPV and warts on your fingers are part of the same virus family.

Not true. The only way would be if you had a small rupture on the wart and had direct exposure to bodily fluids. Very unlikely.

First of all HIV is a virus not and infection there is a difference and the only ways to transmit this virus are:

1 Blood to blood contact with someone with HIV/AIDS
2 Mother to child (33% chance)
3 Sharing Needles with someone with HIV/AIDS
4 Sexual intercourse with someone with HIV/AIDS

So finally you cannot get HIV/AIDS from finger warts.

Warts are a skin infection caused by HPV viruses .Usually they disappear after a few months.Salicylic acid is used to remove warts by either applying an adhesive pad soaked in salicylic acid or directly applying the salicylic acid solution to the affected area.More details and remedies about warts at the link below.
