Why HIV infection prevalence rate is high in Africa especially in Ethiopia?

There are many factors that contribute to the increased incidence of HIV in Africa.
For one thing, medical care in Africa is not as advanced and there is more poverty, so people who do get HIV often remain untreated. They then have a higher viral load and can more easily transmit the disease.
Secondly, whereas in the west, HIV is predominantly in the gay and drug using populations, in Africa it is in the general population, so the risk factor of having sex with anyone at all increases in Africa.
Third, in many African countries, the population is suspicious of western people who try to tell them ways to decrease the transmission of any disease at all. So many of the education initiatives that take place in Africa are not well followed by the population.
Finally, in some parts of Africa, there exists the myth that if you contract a disease, you can have sex with a virgin and she will get the disease, but you will be cured. So in certain countries in Africa, there is an increased incidence of individuals who have HIV who will RAPE young girls, hoping to cure themselves.

In a world full of lies, deceit, and greed. Even the war is appearing to take on a different motive! As a person who isn't white, and from observation over the history I believe that this deadly disease was perfectly placed to extinguish an unknowing race of people from the face of the earth! My opinion. Call it drastic, call it wrong. Look at the motive. Look at the continent of Africa all the benefits of possessing such a place. Then see for yourself, that no condom, no amount of sexual activity, or disdain could create such a catastrophic affect that is taking place in Africa! What will happen is that immunities will soon build in some, and AIDS will be a defective weapon. People there are all kinds of wars going on in the world. If you open your eyes to see it, then you would realize! It may be a war going on in your own neighborhood, but you are too blind to even notice! Wake Up People, and stop thinking shallow minded!
