In HIV infection is vl<50 ml, cd4 800 good or bad?

vl<50ml means the viral load is less than 50 copies per ml of blood and that is good in HIV infection. That's where you want to be. Over that and you're much more prone to illness. And cd4 800 is the T-cell count being 800 which is also very good in HIV infection as "normal" T-Cell count is 800-1200, so those are some good stats for someone who is HIV positive! :)

Please don't listen to the idiots above. We all know HIV is bad. Any disease is not good. Meningitis is bad, the flu is bad. But stay on your antivirals and don't miss any doses and you (or whoever you're asking about) will be OK. People can live a long, long time now with HIV. (A very good friend of mine has been HIV+ for over 20 years now). A lot of the public still thinks it's a death sentence and that's just wrong. There's hope out there! Just read up and take care of that dosing schedule--never miss a dose!

if its hiv than its bad

they have lots of hiv sites

I just know that HIV itself is very bad.....the evil.

HIV is BAD no matter what!!

Make sure you are treated and properly monitored.

Make sure you don't infect others.

Pray to God. He's your only hope now.

its not good as its hiv :( but y not ask a doctor??
