Is triglycerides connected to HIV infection? (not treatment)?

Is triglycerides connected to HIV infection? (not treatment)?

No, triglycerides is a type of lipid (fat) molecule. There is no connection between high fat and HIV.

triglycerides are fats in ur blood stream. Similar to cholesterol...(you see people with high cholesterol); these are linked to increased risk of heart disease but not HIV infection. Has more to do with ur diet, weight and heridity. They check your triglycerides in routine labs. Hiv test is different and is a virus
