can someone get aids thru kissing an infected person?

There are no known cases of a person contracting HIV through casual kissing. There are trace amount of virus found in the mouth but the likelihood of passing it to another person is very low.

no...doctors always tell you that's not true but if the person has a cut on his lip then you may get it cause you're getting his blood.

There are no recorded cases of this found, yet. But I can tell you that trace amounts can be found in the infected persons the saliva and that there is no real way you can tell if the person that you are kissing has a bleeding cut in their mouth.
Although, even if you were to ingest saliva and blood from an infected persons mouth, it would still have to go trough your digestive system where it would encounter stomach acid and most likely not survive.

The only way that it sould present a problem is if it got into your bloodstream. For example you also had an open cut in your mouth that you were aware or maybe not aware of.

Yes, though it is very rare. If the people involved have gum disease or open sores in their mouths it may be transmitted.
