This was announced just a few hours ago. And if it works for HIV, couldn't it work for other retroviruses as well? Looks like a cure for HIV is a possibility after all - isn't science great? :)

It only "Suppresses the viruses life cycle".
That is not a CURE.
They are not even close to a CURE yet.
Go back and read that article again, you missed the important facts.

Why cure disease? The drug companies make more money with suppression drugs than cures and vaccines. Cures and vaccines are only good for the PR campaigns.
